I have just completed a six session gun dog course with Helen with my working Cocker Spaniel, Blue. I have had many dogs over the years and in the past been involved with conducting training classes with strong working breeds such as the German Shepherd. Helens tuition was excellent throughout the course. She adapts the training to the handler and dog and shows great patience. There were 5 people on the course. I have been going to Helen’s pet dog to gun dog group training for the past 6 months and cannot say enough good things. The sessions are always different and enjoyable. Our group had spaniels and Labradors each with different work on areas, but Helen created an environment for them all to thrive; working at the pace of each dog in the group and providing tricks, tips and advice to suit each dog (and owners) development. I have really enjoyed learning the different aspects of gun dog work with Helen, she keeps it fun, without judgement, and will lend sessions to where the group needs to focus. We have come such a long way, it has been amazing to watch my dog come into his own, gain confidence (in the right areas) and for me to build a deeper connection him. I started the group as a bit of fun, happy to see what it was all about and give my dog something different to do, and now we are out beating on a local shoot - I can honestly say I would not have been able to come this far without
